Scheduling a Show

PHM Teachers
Please follow the guidelines shown below and click on “Shows” above to help you decide which show best meets your curriculum needs. Then click on the link at the bottom of this page to fill out the Visitation Request form.
What do I need to do?
- Meet with your grade level team and decide which show fits your curriculum needs. The grade levels listed with each show title are approximations, they are not intended to restrict the participation of certain grades. If you believe a particular show fits your curriculum but is not listed for your grade level, you may still choose the show. You know your curriculum and students best.
- Select four possible dates and times to see the show. These dates ideally should be close to when you’re teaching the material covered in the DVT presentation. I’ll try my best to schedule your first choice of date and time options.
- Due to current bus driver shortages, the EARLIEST bus pick-up time is 9:30 am. Depending on the travel time from your school to Bittersweet, show START times must be between 9:45 am to 12:30 pm. Please confirm travel time before scheduling a show start time.
- Please do NOT schedule a show to begin at or after 12:30 pm due to my astronomy classes.
- Check ALL TESTING dates to ensure they don’t coincide with a visitation date!
- Complete the Visitation Request Form (link below)
- I hope to send you an email confirmation of your visitation date and time on or before, Friday, September 9th.
- YOU will then schedule the bus/buses with Transportation. Remember to schedule the bus to arrive 5-10 minutes before the start of the show. Learning Division will pay for one trip. If you want a second trip for your grade level, do the same drill as above; however, your school will have to pay the Transportation cost.
